When we re-did our master bathroom last year, I couldn’t find the right mirrors.
First they were too big and too square…
Then they were WAY too small…
Then I found the perfect size and shape at, of all places, my friend Cricket’s house! Loved the size and the shape, but the only thing that didn’t work was the inside rim of the frame had a gold tone to them.
So, I picked up this Krylon Silver Leafing pen from Michaels (used a 40% off coupon, of course!)
I know it’s just a small sliver of gold, but it really made a difference in making it perfect.
Here’s before…
And here’s after.
Of course, now, I’m thinking that I might need to change the lights… 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!

Note: This is not a sponsored post. I just found something that worked for me, and thought I’d let you know. Krylon doesn’t even know I exist 🙂

Love them! (I do the same thing…talk about a product and they have no idea I just talked about them.)

Thanks Kirby! I always feel like I should clarify that no one has asked me to review/gave it to me free, etc.

Can I just say your bathroom is gorgeous, no matter what kind of mirrors are up! Although I do like the new ones!

Thanks 🙂 I am seriously on the fence about the lights though! I don’t know if we need different ones, or just to lower the ones that are there. (they match the rest of the hardware in the bathroom)

I agree with the lights… while they are not bad lights, they have that “builder standard” look to them. And you have put so much effort into the whole look, you can’t skimp there.
Looking forward to the final photos!!
