Fantastic Five: Kitchen Inspiration

Renovating Lagoon Landing has me trolling Pinterest for ideas for every part of the house, especially the kitchen. So much goes into the design of a kitchen that deciding on the little details gets overwhelming without some inspiration.

These are my five favorite kitchens this week.

1. Room For Tuesday – their new kitchen is a stunner! I love the shine of the backsplash, and their pot filler and faucet are gorgeous! And take a look at those floors!! 😮

2. Kaleidoscope Living – my two favorite things in this kitchen are the bar stools and the moody blue backsplash!!

3. Studio McGee – I love so many things about this kitchen, but I’m focusing on this vent hood. We are going to need one above the stove, and I don’t love the idea of just a metal vent hood. I love the simplicity of this one though, it looks like something that we can build.

4. Beginning in the Middle – I love the hardware in this kitchen, especially the latches. And I love a good black kitchen – so classy and, I believe, timeless. You have to go check out their island countertop – they married marble and a gorgeous wood in a way I hadn’t seen before.

5. Renovate 108 – I love all the things about this kitchen. The dark green cabinets, the brass hardware, their finishes on an Ikea kitchen blow me away. They don’t have a blog yet, but it’s coming. In the meantime, you MUST go check out their instagram feed for all the beautiful photos of their new kitchen. And when you find you need more information on their process, their highlights of the renovation are amazing.

Those are my favorite kitchens right now. I’m sure I will pull a little bit of all of them into our new kitchen. Do you have any favorite kitchens that I should check out before making any design decisions?
