Girls’ Bathroom Makeover – Bathroom Primp and Pamper Blog Hop- Week 2

It’s the second week of the Bathroom Primp and Pamper blog hop, and I have a lot more of the details  for the girls bathroom makeover nailed down. If you are coming over from A Designer At Home, welcome! Isn’t the mirror A-MAZ-ING?!

Before I begin though, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Jewel from Jeweled Interiors, and the amazing group of sponsors she put together for the hop. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to make the girls bathroom makeover half as amazing as it’s going to be. Though the products listed below have been provided by the sponsors, any and all opinions are my 100% own.

Since last week, where I showed you where we started in the girls’ bathroom, I’ve picked out our new mirrors. They are from Lamps Plus, one of the amazing sponsors that Jewel was able to line up for us. They are the Takeo Silver Bamboo Wall Mirror – Eek! Simply fabulous. I changed my mind about the wallpaper. Although I am still in love with the Shibori print, I think I’m going to put that one in our guest bathroom. I’m going for this one from SmithHonig instead. It’s called Bryony Strom Noir.

I love how vibrant it is, with all the blues and purples.  And, I figured it will make the room feel just a little more feminine – perfect for two little ladies!

The rug’s been ordered from Rugs Plus. I chose to go with a neutral gray rug – I didn’t want for it to compete too much with the fabulous wallpaper. I’m planning on running it in front of the cabinets. jubilee solid braided rug - salt and pepper - Rugs Plus

It’s the Jubilee Solid Braided Rug, which is an indoor/outdoor rug – so perfect for the bathroom! I was worried about putting something too “precious” in there that wouldn’t be able to stand up to the water it would be subjected to over the years.

And finally, the gorgeous hardware for the vanity from Liberty Hardware arrived and it is stunning! Liberty Hardware Modern Geometric drawer pulls

Now I’m off to figure out how to remove the existing mirror without killing myself. That thing is HUGE – and I don’t know if we’ll be able to get it out in one piece… any suggestions?

So, now I’m sending you over to Mary at I Like it Lovely. You have got to check out what she’s planning for her floors – wow!!

If you’ve missed anyone on the hop, please take a minute to visit the other ladies, too. I’m truly out of my league with these women – each one of them has style for days!!
