Although I’m not posting as much as I used to, it’s not because I haven’t been trying new pins. In fact, I’ve been putting a lot of pins to the test lately while I’m trying to get ready for the 20 or so people that are coming for Thanksgiving. I love having my family together for the holidays, but I always want my home to look great. Therefore, I spend a few weeks beforehand trying to finish all the little projects I’ve been putting off. Do you do that too? Please tell me you do, then I’ll feel better!
One of the other problems I’m finding when I want to post about a new pin is that I’m usually pretty bad about taking pictures for the posts… I have to work on that 🙂
But, I finally remembered to take some pictures as I tried a new recipe pin, and this turned out to be one of the fabulous ones!
I pinned this pin of some S’more Croissants a couple of days ago, and couldn’t wait to try them. (As usual, if you want to see the original posts, you can click on the pictures to check them out!)
I love all things croissant, but my daughter really loves all things S’mores. She has tried quite a few of the S’mores pins on Pinterest including these…
They were delicious – but add more butter to make them easier to cut.
And these…
Also very yummy, but the marshmallow got very hard after they cooled, so it make them kind of tough on your teeth.
You can check out my daughter’s Pinterest Food Board here. If she has tried a recipe, she puts comments as to how they turned out for her. Mostly it’s just fun baked goods that she’s tried so far, but at least she is enjoying getting in the kitchen and cooking!
Well, anyway, I got a rare chance to make a big breakfast for my family on Sunday morning so I decided to try these. They were super simple.
I used one roll of crescent rolls, a few chocolate chips and some mini-marshmallows.
Rolled them up and stuck them in the oven for 11 minutes. I did make sure to tuck the ends after I rolled them to make sure all the chocolate and marshmallows stayed inside.
Then, for my husband, who doesn’t like chocolate, I made two with a little bit of strawberry jam and cream cheese.
These came out delicious too. I am pretty sure you can wrap up your favorite anything in a crescent roll and it will be amazing. It’s like magic dough, I swear.
And these are how they turned out. I will definitely make these again – the whole family loved them!
What fabulous things have you tried lately on Pinterest??
Thanks for stopping by 🙂

These look so good!!!! You’re right, you could roll just about anything you like (sweet or savory) in a crescent roll and it would be delish… on the not so sweet side, I’ve made the pepperoni/cheese crescents and they also came out good 🙂

Mmmmm…smores. I love smores. I’ve made the Smore bars by Betty Crocker before. They were hard to cut, but delicious. I can’t wait to make the croissants!
Sometimes we get a small bowl and put crushed up Oreos in the bottom and then top it with mallows and chocolate. Delicious!

I made these for Christmas morning (minus the marshmallows) and I’m not ashamed to say that 4 adults killed almost 2 tubes of croissants worth 🙂
We used Cherry Jam and light cream cheese and didn’t even miss the richness of the regular cream cheese. Thanks for the idea! xo
